Charles H Trace Jr ASLA AICP

Mr. Trace is a registered landscape architect and urban design professional with twenty-five years of experience, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

A graduate of Harvard University, Graduate School of Design, Mr. Trace's expertise lies in urban landscape design. His work at one scale includes the design of gardens, parks, public spaces and streetscapes. At a larger scale, Mr. Trace's work includes the master planning of campuses, office parks, and residential communities.

Mr. Trace has served as a panelist and moderator for programs at the National Building Museum and the Corcoran Gallery of Art. He was appointed to the Mayoral Task Force to review planning and design of the sports arena in downtown DC. Previously he served as Director of Landscape Architecture for Dewberry & Davis, a large architectural and engineering firm. Mr. Trace was also involved in the design of a new town in the Middle East for Bell Helicopter and has designed several new communities in Germany for the US Department of Defense.
